• DESCRIPTION

This pattern is written using US crochet terms.

The Fraser's Ridge Shawl Crochet Pattern will allow you to create a large triangle scarf with two stripes in the design.

This shawl is seen in Outlander season 5 and is very similar to the Rent Shawl, only made larger so it can wrap and tie behind your back.

Yarn

  • Yarn A - Cascade 220 - Shire 2445 100g/220yards x 1 (S) x 1.5 (M) 2 (L/XL) x 3+ (XL/XXL)
  • Yarn B - Cascade 220 - Turtle 2452 100g/220yards x 1 (S) 1 (M) 1 (L/XL) 1 (XL/XXL)
  • Yarn C - Cascade 220 - Smoke Heather 9450 100g/220yards x 1 (S/M) x 1 (L/XL) x 1 (XL/XXL)

Yarn weight - Medium Weight 04/Aran/Worsted/10 Ply.

Hook

5 mm (US H-8) hook.

• SKILLS

Level - Basic

This is a basic level crochet pattern and the techniques involved are creating a chain, treble crochet, and changing colors.

• SIZING

Length (laying flat and not stretched out) = 34 inches/86 cm

Width (wingspan laying flat and not stretched out) = 68 inches/173 cm

One size (S/M) - as you can see in the photos)

You can adjust the shawl easily for your size, by working more rows of treble crochet in Yarn A before you work the stripes.
