Lovely easy pattern

I love the pattern, but hate sewing pieces together. So, when I got to the collar ribbing, I joined it and knit in the round. I’ll still have to sew the under sections together, but the less sewing the better.
My dog is looking forward to keeping warm in chilly weather

I love this! It's simple, easy, and a lot of fun to knit. There are so many things going on in here - ribbing, changing colors, decreasing, and the pompom. It's a great project for a confident beginner. A word of advice - I knit this using the magic loop method, but toward the end it got so small that I had to switch to double-points. So, there are two new skills for beginners to try!
