• DESCRIPTION

This ribbed hat pattern is an excellent project for anyone who is learning how to knit.

Not too bulky and not too light, this hat is comfortable to wear on any occasion, and it is unisex too!

Yarn

1 x The Petite Wool from We Are Knitters.
Each ball is 100 GR. Per 140 M.100% Peruvian wool.
The yarn weight is bulky/chunky/12 ply.

Needles

Set of 6 mm (US 10) knitting needles.

Please note - this hat is knit flat - back and forth on straight needles.

SKILLS

Level – Basic

This is a basic level knitting pattern, and the techniques involved are the knit stitch, purl stitch, K2tog, P2tog, and casting on.

• SIZING

There are seven sizes to make (head circumference/hat circumference is written in inches);

  • Baby 0-3 months - 13-15"
  • Baby 3-12 months - 15-18"
  • 1-2 years Toddler - 18-19"
  • 3-12 years Child - 19-21"
  • Teen/Adult Small - 21-22"
  • Adult medium - 22-24"
  • Adult Large - 24-26"

It would have been helpful to include the number of stitches needed for sizes other than the medium. I will now have to calculate that on my own.
