I purchased the pattern to knit a jumper for a friend’s Jack Russell a small very cute dog.
I had to frog it a couple of times due to not paying attention but the pattern was clear and easy to follow. I enjoyed making it up.
I have 2 chihuahuas, 10 lbs, not tiny and small size is a great fit. I’ve made 6 of these and my one pup demands it to be put on every day. Thank you!

I love the pattern, but hate sewing pieces together. So, when I got to the collar ribbing, I joined it and knit in the round. I’ll still have to sew the under sections together, but the less sewing the better.

This was my first real knitting project and it was fabulous. I learned so much working this sweater and really enjoyed it. The instructions were clear and easy to follow. Ended up with a really cute sweater.
I am a novice knitter and found the pattern easy to make. I altered the leg openings at the front to create sleeves. Would prefer if it had an option to put in a hole at the top for dog owners who use a harness instead of a collar.
