• DESCRIPTION
The bear bonnet is easy to make, with beginner knitters in mind.
Using knit and purl stitches, you will create stocking stitch and it will also introduce you to decreasing and shaping.
The bonnet will be a cute prop for any photo session you have planned!
The ears and chin ties are crochet, so you will have to be able to do some beginner-level crochet to complete the ears.
Yarn
1 x 50g mohair yarn (I used Rowan Kid Silk Haze in Majestic (589) knit with two strands together to make it a DK weight).
Any DK yarn/Medium weight (Knit with 1 strand only).
Needles
Knitting Needles: 5.5mm (US 9)
Hook
7mm hook (US size K or similar) for the ears and chin ties.
• SKILLS
Level – Easy
This is an easy level knitting pattern and the techniques involved are the knit stitch, purl stitch, increasing, and decreasing.
The ears are crochet - so some simple crochet knowledge is required for those.
