• DESCRIPTION

The Christmas stocking is easy to make, with advanced beginner knitters in mind.
Using knit and purl stitches you will create a simple design.
The stocking will be perfect to use for Christmas gifts and little surprises.

Yarn

2 skeins of Yarn Art Alpine Maxi in color 665 (40% wool / 60% Acrylic) 500g

Coordinating color for the tassels and poms - I used Lion Brand Wool-ease thick and quick in Fisherman (around 30g).

I also used a dark brown yarn (scraps 10g) - Yarn Art Alpine Alpaca.

Any super bulky/super chunky/14 ply weight yarn.

Level – Easy

This is an easy level knitting pattern and the techniques involved are the knit stitch, purl stitch, increases, and decreases to shape.

• SIZING

Height - From top of cuff to heel = 20 inches / From top of cuff to toe = 25 inches
Width - From side of stocking to side = 9 inches / From toe to heel = 13 inches
