• DESCRIPTION

The poncho is easy to make, with beginner knitters in mind.

Using knit and purl stitches, you will create the bamboo stitch, learn to knit in the round and it will also introduce you to decreasing and shaping.

The poncho will be perfect to wear in warmer weather.

Yarn

2 x Lion Brand Fast Track yarn in the color ‘Bicycle Blue‘ (109).

Needles

Note: Each summer poncho side is worked from side to side, then sewn together. To make this easier you may want to work on circular needles.

15mm (US 19) knitting needles (straight or 24″ circulars).

This is an easy level knitting pattern and the techniques involved are the knit stitch, purl stitch, increasing, decreasing, and working in the round.
