• DESCRIPTION

The blanket is really huge and squishy, perfect for those cold autumn/winter days.
Knit with a soft alpaca wool blend, this really is a blanket that you will want to make!

Yarn

Super Bulky/Super Chunky/18-20 Ply - Knit with two strands together.

Yarn Art Alpine Alpaca (150g/5,28oz/120m/131.23 yds) in the color beige 430 x 13 skeins

Super bulky substitute yarn suggestion: Lion Brand Wool-Ease Thick and Quick (170g/106yds/97m).

Total yardage for blanket = 1,706yds.

If you knit with Jumbo weight yarn you only need to knit with one strand.

Needles

25mm (US 50) Circular knitting needles.

Cable needle - 20mm (US 36) or 25mm (US 50).

*Please note you will knit back and forth on the circular needles, you will not be joining in the round.*

The circular needles help to take the weight of the blanket as there are many stitches and it gets heavy as it grows!

Easy pattern to follow. I used 12mm needles, single super chunky marino yarn, doubled cast on and pattern (6/12 stitches)for the perfect double bed spread.
