This knitting pattern is great for those of you out there who want to knit a cozy pair of stripey socks.

This is a simple sock pattern for intermediate knitters that has a few sizes to make.

Yarn

Aran/worsted/10 Ply yarn

For the Child size 4/6yrs - 140m/153yds/100g (Cascade 220)

For the Child size 8/10 years - 155m/170yds/100g (Cascade 220)

For the S/M size - 167m/182 yards/100g (Cascade 220)

For the L/XL Size - 200m/220 yards/100g (Cascade 220)

Yarn A - 1 x Dark Grey (Cascade 220 Greystone Heather 9491)

Yarn B - 1 x Light grey (Cascade 220 Silver Grey 8401)

Yarn C - 1 x White (Cascade 220 Natural 8010)

Needles

Adult Sizes - 5mm (US 8) DPNs / or 9" or 16′′ circular needles.

Child Sizes - 4.5mm (US 7) DPNs / or 9" or 16′′ circular needles.

If you use a 16" circular you will have to use the magic loop technique.

For the adult sock - You may wish to use a smaller size needle for the cuff (or if you want a tighter fitting sock) - 4.5mm (US 7) DPNs / or 9" or 16′′ circular needles.
