The hat is easy to make, with advanced beginner knitters in mind.

Using knit and purl stitches, you will create ribbing, knit in the round, and decrease and shape.

This hat will be super fun to wear at Christmas!

Yarn

1 ball or skein of bulky/chunky/12-ply yarn 100g.

Scraps of DK (light 03) yarn in red, mustard/gold, green, and white for the poms.

Needles

8 mm (US 11) 16″ Circular needles

You may also need a set of 8 mm (US 11) double-pointed needles for the decreases.

    This is an easy-level knitting pattern, and the techniques involved are the knit stitch, purl stitch, increasing, decreasing, and working in the round.
