• DESCRIPTION

The hat and cowl set is easy to make, with advanced beginner knitters in mind.

Using knit and purl stitches, you will create ribbing, knit in the round, and decrease and shape.

This hat and cowl will be super cozy to wear in the cold weather.

Yarn

• 3 skeins of super bulky yarn (in thistles – purple) – I used Hayfield Super Chunky With Wool in shade 0057
• 1 skein or a scrap of white (I used Yarn Art Alpine Alpaca in white 433) suitable for size 10.00mm (US 15) needles

Lion Brand wool ease thick and quick or something similar will also be fine to use.

Needles

• 10.00mm (US 15) 16″ circulars knitting needles for the hat.
• 10mm (US 15) 24″ circular knitting needles for the cowl.

This is an easy level knitting pattern and the techniques involved are the knit stitch, purl stitch, increasing, decreasing, and working in the round.
